No. Everything is set up through your own admin panel with guided steps -- including connecting your own domain, which just requires a copy-paste at your domain registrar.

QR codes & equipment
Do members need to download an app to scan the QR codes?
No. Any modern phone camera can scan a QR code directly and open the machine's page in a browser. An account is only needed to log sets and track personal history.
What if a QR code sticker gets damaged or falls off?
You can reprint any machine's code at any time from your admin panel -- the code itself doesn't change, so a replacement sticker just works.
Can I add my own demo videos instead of using YouTube?
Yes. Each machine can use either a YouTube link or a video you upload directly.
Community & retention
How is this different from other retention platforms?
Most retention tools are notification layers bolted onto a gym management system -- members barely notice them. Progression Lab is QR-first: every code lives on a real machine, tied to a real workout, so the connection is physical, not just another app notification.
Can members see other gyms' leaderboards or feeds?
No. Every challenge, leaderboard, and feed is scoped entirely to your own gym -- there's no cross-gym or public visibility.
Will this stop all churn?
No -- life happens. The goal is reducing preventable churn by improving consistency, progress visibility, and real connection to your gym.
Classes & scheduling
Is there a limit to how many class types I can create?
No. Create as many class types as your gym runs -- all included in the $249/month plan.
What happens when a class is full?
Members can join a waitlist and are automatically notified as spots open up when someone cancels.
White-label & domains
Is white-labeling an extra cost?
No -- it's included in the $249/month plan. There's no upcharge for connecting your own domain.
Do I need to buy a new domain?
No. Use any domain you already own, or a subdomain of it (like portal.yourgym.com).
What if I don't set up a custom domain right away?
You can still fully use and manage your gym's software -- the custom domain only affects what members see before they log in. Set it up whenever you're ready.
